Indigenous people and New World Blacks did have cross cultural connection, but I would argue that it isn't significant because the Native slaves were killed off. Unless you were a Black Cherokee or a Black Seminole, I would argue that most ADOS did not have extensive contact with Natives to the point our cultures would merge.

Most of the slaves were picked due to their skills that they cultivated in Africa, they weren't a blank slate - I agree with you on that.

there were numerous pockets where eastern (south all the way up the north east) tribes and blacks had contact outside of blacks/cherokees and blacks/seminoles but they didn't leave any huge impact on what came to be afram culture.
