So Narcos is the best show on Netflix. Better than Orange?

Bloodlines good. Worth watching for ben Mendelsohn's performance alone. But its not amazing or anything.

Which to me sums up all of netflix original programming so far. Its a lot of middle of the road stuff, some good some bad but no must watch shows.

Its still early obviously, but if netflx is going to continue their change into more original programming they need to step it up. They need an undeniable show.

shyt like sense 8 and marco polo isnt cutting it.
:what:

YOU might like like them but House Of Cards, Daredevil, Narcos, and Bloodline are undeniable top of the line shows. Pretty impressive for a company that's only been doing original programming for 5 years or so. Got other traditional networks trying to keep up and get their sh*t together. And of course they're going to have some duds here and there. What network doesn't

Pawgs with dragons
House of Cards
Orange is the New Black
Bloodline
Narcos

I watched the first episode of Daredevil and couldn't be bothered to finish it. Narcos is cool, but it's not breaking any new ground or anything like that:yeshrug:

OITNB is :trash:

Way to much of a chick show..

Narcos is good could be better. The story moves too quick there's no time to see who Carlos Escobar really was or the DEA agent. If there's another trafficker story it needs to be about Carlos Leider did he sell out Noreaga to hide out in the witness protection program.

:heh:

Brehs sleeping on Marco Polo:francis:

Word...slow is slept on in general. Netflix ain't market it enough or some shyt.

The Khan's harem ..:steviej: :shaq:

They're decent shows. Beyond that,no.

Theyre on the same footing as the ray donovans of the world.

B/C level shows. House of cards had the most potential, and it is entertaining but soon as you got spacey out here murdering folks it turned into a silly show.

If you think those shows are at the top with the mad men, breaking bad, games of thrones, the wires than :mjlol:

So now you're putting Netflix's shows up against the best of all time from multiple networks combined? :beli: And Game Of Thrones is really good but not great imo. Plus it took a few seasons in the beginning before Breaking Bad and Mad Men gained steam and momentum.. and alot of that was because those shows were on Netflix. Plus like others have said releasing an entire season at once eliminates the next day water cooler talk that shows build upon to gain status and popularity with viewers.

Thats what I meant by an undeniable show. They need that 1 show that makes everybody take notice. Im not saying they dont have some good shows, they do. But theyre missing that 1 show that defines a network/channel/subscription.

I liked bloodline, but its not a must see thats going to "turn heads."

I get what you're saying but they're still NEW to this orginal content programming. I'll give AMC props, they came with two classics early in the game. HBO has been in the game like 30 years. And some of this is subjective. I love Man Men but I know alot of people that are :camby:to the show as well. The Wire didn't even have big ratings when it was on the air. Outside of the heads that were up on game, The Wire didn't get the true recognition it deserved until is was long over with. So I'm saying that these shows weren't really undeniable til seasons and years later.

Fair enough.

BUT I'd counter with shows like mad men,bb and wire etc getting better as they went.

House of cards and orange have IMO gotten worse every season. And I really did like bloodline, but Im really not sure how much I want a second season considering what happened.

As we've both noted though, they are very very new at this. So a few clunkers like hemlock grove are expected.

Daredevil was strong and if the next marvel show hits out of the park than thats huge for them as Marvel is a very strong brand.

215 Uptown!
Im assuming were talking about Netflix original content. Because theres TONS of shows better then Narcos you can watch on netflix,

But just going from the original content. House of cards and Daredevil are both better then OITNB. Especially after the HORRIBLE season 3 it just had.

Narcos is ok. House Of Cards is still the best "original" show on Netfllix though.

Daredevil was really fukking good though. And if Jessica Jones and Daredevil season 2 are also good then :wow: Marvel is killing the game.
