Comcast Promotion's crew just got me to add digital cable.
Tried to have somebody come and install 1 box and I was like:
Basically, I'm paying 45 for just the internet 20mbps. I also have basic local cable which is hooked directly into my TVs (no boxes it's just comes in free). They said my shyt was going up to 62 dollars just for my internet package... or I could just upgrade to 30mbps and add Digital Economy cable for 59. Threw in 2 free months of HBO as well.
What I don't get is how in the hell are they going to give me this and it doesn't have HD? I really just did it for the increase in net speed, and I figured since I added the TV, when the 6 months is up I can just tell them to sign me up for which ever internet only deal they have going on at the time. No contracts so...
How you gonna offer a TV package and HD ain't included in 2012?

The box that I'm getting from them will go in the 1 room that isn't hooked up to a coaxial cable. A lot of people do that and tech's that see it normally snitch or try to stop people using the internet coaxial to get basic cable. I know my boy is doing that with Charter (or some other cable company). He got their web service and got a splitter to get basic cable.
