100% wrong.
HD Antennae will get you your local sports. CBS, NBC, ABC, WGN etc (in my case Comcast Sportsnet)
You want ESPN? Easy. Turn on your Xbox, get the new app, have a friend or family member activate your Xbox under their account. You have ESPN for free, and in HD with a fast enough connection.
You want NBA? Cop League Pass. You can watch it on your TVs in HD with a number of devices. Again, it's 179 or 189 for the entire year... people are paying that each month for a load of shyt that they're not even watching.
Same applies to most sports. Only games that I can't see are the TNT and NBATV ones now. And with what I'm saving, I don't care. I can go to the bar with the guys or a friends house for those if the match up warrants it.
And all the single shyt doesn't apply if your women is on the same page and knows what's up. I'm married, been living like this since March. My girl was skeptical at first, but now she has seen the light and gives no fukks about paying for cable. She don't need to be watching VH1, BET, MTV and all that wack shyt anyway. Add in Netflix, HBOGo etc... (which you can easily get access to from the fam) I have more than enough content to watch.
I have HD everything in every room of my house. And I'm paying 45 for 20mbps speeds (it was 29.99 when I first hopped on it though)
It's easier than people make it out to be.
tnt games are free and in hd on tnt overtime
