dawg, If I say what I believe yall might think I'm crazy as that dude. But I've been a CT theorist for a lonnnnnnnngggggggg time. I have NEVER heard shyt about water having feelings.
I always talk about moments I've had cause that's all I know is personal experience.
I been close to breaking one point. For a week straight I thought I was being watched by everyone, coincidentally somehow people knew what I did that week and jokin' about it. I legitametely lost my fukkin mind.
I had to convince myself otherwise. Sometimes, you can only help yourself because no one else knows what he's going through. You can help him figure it out, but without knowing exactly how he feels or what he's thinking, there's not much you can do.
Just tell him he'll be cool. Go and make him take his mind off of things. Over-thinking can lead a path down to some really fukked up things. Pop in GTA 5 or somethin.

Even if water did have feelings, it would be pointless since it's powerless to act on it's consciousness.

Not so. Trees can respond to their environment. Not greatly, but there's at least evidence of awareness there (google: phototropism). At least they're alive and are composed of organic compounds. Water is just... a molecule.

Ya boy might just be the real gullible type to buy into conspiricy theories even if their way out there. I mean how long have you known the guy because if he's always believed in things that where borderline crackpot it wouldn't raise much concern. What was his perspective on politics before all the drama. Has he been into the super weird conspiracy shyt or was his situation more of a trigger?
This is true, I know for a fact when you have a limit to stress, it'll break through one way or another. He probably became very depressed and tried to take his mind off of things and somehow winded up putting the blame on things through his conspiracy theories, also trying to make a friend he could trust. Water.
Like I said, try to make him lose a little focus on his thoughts, make him just enjoy the world around him. I'm not an expert, but that worked for me.
He won't be as normal as he was though, just a heads up. He'll be changed a bit. Still same guy though so don't judge him.
