Yeah...The majority of weave consumers are black women. But the ones getting rich are Asians--a Billion dollar industry. Same concept with Timberland boots, ect.
The Montgomery bus boycott has always been fascinating to me for the simply fact how they were able to get all those African Americans on the same page to support a common goal
Guess all that million man march shyt went out the windowI went to Walmart and it was jam packed with negroes. Two black women got to fighting over a 40-inch TV. People were pushing and shoving. That shyt was crazy. I just wanted to see the fukkery in person. Did anyone else go out?
Yet there were still nikkas like you during the Montgomery Bus Boycott saying that it was a "weak ass plan" because nikkas would never do it, they gots to go to work and make a livingThere was no march and the gathering in DC was NOT about boycotting Black Friday. Minister Farrakhan did implore us to boycott the holiday gift giving altogether, but that wasn't the focal point of the speech(es).
Like I said in another thread, y'all only touted this weak ass plan because you knew it would fail and it would give you a chance to chastise black people. It's a dumb plan which you've failed to sell anybody on. I'd bet most of those with their noses up never shop on Black Friday anyways so they didn't even have to 'sacrifice', they'd just stand in the cut with their soap box ready to grandstand at a moment's notice.
The most storied boycott in this country's history is the the bus boycotts in Alabama. That had a very specific target: the bus company. They didn't boycott local businesses in hopes that those owners would pressure the bus company into changing its policies...They went directly at the target. That boycott had a very specific goal: stop the policy of mistreating black riders. Everybody involved or just watching from the sidelines knew exactly what would need to happen in order to stop the boycott....change those policies. Furthermore, that boycott realized that the boycott could not be successful if they just asked people not to ride the bus; people had bills to pay and mouths to feed. Thus they created mechanisms like shared rides that would actually make the boycott doable.
Even though they hit the pockets (significantly) of the entity with direct power over what they were asking and they were clear on what they were asking, that entity STILL held out for over a year before caving. Yet y'all really act like hitting the pockets of retailers for a weekend in the hopes that they'll guess your demands and then lean on politicians in order to get them to exact change with respect to police brutality?
I just spended 400 plus dollars on vsts and drum kits. Online shopping tho. I dont indulge in black friday fukkery.

There won't ever be a "perfect" plan especially with all these pessimistic ass nikkas discouraging everything but giving your hard earned money right back to the corporations.
I'd rather get reparations than a fukking deal on a IPad...
But even if we got reparations we would give it right back like that Chappelle skit because we lack discipline
boycott the best deals of the year brehs
nikka yesterday said he's boycotting this week of deals and will buy something after its over
why do people wanna not get items on the cheapest day of the year, im really trying to understand.
Drum kit wize just few ting from drumkitsupply and drum broker. Got this new vst tho and the sound banks for it. Bout to be my new secret weaponwhat you get? I wanted to cop some drumkits next year, Im sitting on like 50gb worth but its never enough lol.
Apparently sarcasm is the only solution you have to offerYea, cuz that's what happened here...iPads were chosen over reparations.
As usual, you're just deflecting from the point that your plan was dumb. The fact that there were folks who didn't participate in the bus boycott reaffirms my point. You'll never get 100% participation, but a well planned course of action could absolutely galvanize the people.
