Per a report from PWInsider, the “Broken Matt” trademark is set to be posted for opposition on December 19th, giving parties 30 days to to challenge it before Matt Hardy claims ownership. Once the 30 day period is up Matt will be allowed to use the gimmick inside or outside of WWE.
Matt Hardy and IMPACT wrestling have been legally battling with one another over the gimmick’s ownership over the past several months, with the former WWE Tag Team Champ going as far as offering up $10 – $15k for the gimmick. Now there’s a slight possibility we see the beloved character in a WWE ring.

the Wrestlemania return alone was worth it. that was the loudest outdoor pop of all time and a great moment for all wrestling fans. they also had a good 3 or 4 months with the titles and in main spots on Raw and PPV's afterwards.
think we all knew WWE would eventually find a way to slow down the momentum they had, but the delete chants are still there. the merchandise sales are still there. every week there is new Hardy Boyz merchandise on WWE.com.
