I know it'll never happen but I wish Miami would go independent again. We fit the ACC academically but our Basketball is :trash:

But as far as football we've never been a good fit for the ACC. Small private school with shyt facilities and small alumni base would never make it in the SEC either. We stuck :to:

Dunno why they demolished the Orange Bowl... :to:

But yall aren't that bad in Basketball....

Miami has the talent in football, they'll be okay.

UVA might get a big 10 invite as well. Wake is the odd man out I bet. FSU and Clemson, come on down to the big 12.

Bruh, UVA aint leavin the ACC. And VaTech is tied to the UVA. The Virginia and Carolina schools ARE NEVER LEAVING THE ACC. UVA and the 4 Carolina schools aint bouncing being founding members of the league with too much clout tied up in the ACC. BC has no where else to go so they def aint leaving. Cuse and Pitt aint leaving either seeing as they are not attractive to any other conference.

Again, the schools below the state of North Carolina are the ones people need to worry about.

If acc gets this mass exodus they do not deserve that aq bid for one of those new major bowls

If Louisville still gets caught looking in, I'm done with sports. We are so much better than Maryland...

you :troll:ing?

academically, Louisville isnt in the same class.

We play near one of the mega markets

And in basketball and football.... well yeah you guys are better right now, but we better everywhere else.

Look, :umad: you just gonna have to deal with it. Form the Metro conference again or something. :manny:

:dead: at Pitt and Cuse leaving for this shyt
*not sure if serious*

The Big East doesnt exist anymore, and wouldnt if those two schools stayed.

Finally they got one right after about 10 different combinations of teams leaving the ACC. :scusthov: at Rutgers being in an elite conference even though they are having a nice year. So does this mean UCONN or UL coming to the ACC. No offense to my former ACC, UMD brehs, but if so that's an upgrade. They better than ya'll in both basketball and football :russ:

Notre dame has a good bball team
Virginia tech only been in the acc for not even ten years.
Clemson is a founding member but they would fit in the big 12

ACC can afford to lower their standards a tad bit in the academic department. That may cause them to miss out on UL, but UCONN might be able to slide in. And don't think you will just bounce back and take off in the B1G in basketball.

How is that program going to persuade a DC/Maryland kid that grew up watching the BE and ACC to skip out playing for Cuse, Nova, GT, Pitt, Duke, NCST, UCONN, Carolina, and go to Maryland to play to Nebraska, Iowa, Purdue, and Minnesota instead? That's going to be a hard sell.

As umd alum, i was concerned about moving to the big ten for basketball reasons but now it dont seem too bad.honestly, md has no rivals. Duke, unc, nc state dont give a shyt about md. They dont get up for us like we do them so its really no point. We aint really losing much cause indiana, ohio st, michigan all ranked within the top ten i believe. Plus i heard that moving to big ten will cause most if not all our games to be televised on espn so thats good national exposure for our recruits and players.
