I don't think you get what I'm saying. They can plug Panther into several movies to have him make an appearance and get away without making a solo movie for him. You can call it what you want but I'm not getting my hopes up until they actually start filming his solo movie.

It's like Marvel and DC are waiting for each other to make the first move to actually make a black superhero movie. If DC makes a John Stewart Green Lantern movie before Marvel releases Panther's and it makes a lot of money, I guarantee you it will force their hand to move up Panther's release date.

The logical reason is because they have been avoiding making the movie for years and now it's being pushed back. It's laughable that you even think they care about pissing the black fan base off. They can put him in other movies and still satisfy comic book fans. They are pissing us off even more now because they are pushing it back. Avoiding or you know like putting out more popular characters like Ironman, Cap, and Thor?
Yeah because Black people are real quiet and won't make any kind of stink if they did cancel it. Calling for protests and boycotts is just not Black folks style and even if they did in no way would that be bad publicity for Marvel. Marvel and movie studios actually like to piss off certain demographics to get their name in the paper.
