It's another example of WWE trying to fit a guy into "WWE style". Not everyone can work like that. They fukked up Sin Cara by slowing him down and they are doing the same with Tensai. It's a good thing Vince doesn't pay attention to SD! because if he did.. Daniel Bryan wouldn't be a technical/submission style wrestler. He'd probably be doing comedy spots and pelvic thrusts.

the umaga gimmick took a couple months to grow on me so maybe the tensai character will get better, but i do agree with people saying they wish he could wrestle more like he did in japan

They aren't. Every time Tensai appears Lawler and Cole discuss how he was in WWE and went over to Japan and "dominated". They acknowledge that he is Albert. What's somewhat confusing about it is that they haven't done a great job explaining how he picked up different aspects of Japanese culture and fighting styles.

Nevertheless, if they had just let him work like he was in NJPW, he would be over.
