So let's talk about the Andre Drummond rule for a second...

Every athlete has a maximum or peak level they'll EVER reach at a particular skill. Blanket statements like the OP are foolish.

Dumb nikka coming in this thread acting as if it's a huge burden to ask an NBA Player to hit 50% of his free throws. :mjlol:

Why make such statements though? There have been quite a few players that shot 50 percent or less Such as Shaq, Wilt, Dwight, Danny Fortson. Teams obviously believe such players have value despite the inability to hit free throws. If shooting 50 percent from the line was a prerequisite for playing in the league, Drummond wouldn't be playing.

Shaq seemed to be shooting at a high 50s-60s clip.

I don't blame the coaches or feel bad for the players. But it destroys the game and shouldn't be allowed, imo. I don't believe there is another league/level in the world that allows intentional fouling like the NBA does.

And honestly, if it weren't a big deal, Why does the NBA outlaw it in the final 2 minutes?

It's a tough issue to handle, no doubt about it. But it's not something you can just fix overnight without it feeling "wrong." I think something like what I suggested would be the best case scenario.

I could beat deandre Jordan and Andre
Drummond in a game of knockout

And we're acting like that's not embarassing. Some of us legitimately have homeboys who could win at Knockout against a nikka who gets paid millions to play ball. And you don't even have to be a savant to make free throws, some of them might not even be that good at other aspects. But let's act like free throws aren't a basic part of the game, brehs.

"Playing basketball" isn't a singular skill. It's a bunch of different, often unrelated skills. Might as well get mad at someone who can't execute a crossover or a 20-foot bounce pass or grab 10 boards a game.

He's the worst freethrow shooter ever :yeshrug:

Dude needs to consider shooting them like Ricky Barry. What's even more confusing is that dude used to play on the perimeter in HS, he'd take threes and shyt :mjlol:
@dh86. That's what youd call a mental midget
