Rockets did it to Deandre Jordan in the playoffs and ended up winning that series so....
He's shooting 36% right now though, statistically a freethrow is a 50/50 shot and he's well below that
There's no excuse to be THAT bad at something that he could be doing with his eyes closed and probably hit at the same rate.
It's a static target though, if every pitcher knew a 80mph fastball was always going to be the pitch I'm sure they'd be a lot better at hitting

Why is it a 50/50 shot?
The point is that pitchers aren't judged, at all, on their ability to it...just like Drummond isn't judged on his ability to shoot FTs. Or at least he wouldn't be, if the NBA played under normal basketball rules.

If shawn marion and kevin martin can shoot those ugly jumpers at a more efficient clip and from further out with a defender on them then i can from the free throw line then ill try any form if it means i can shoot better
