Yeah, I'm pretty sure that they were supposed to be together eventually, but the way she presented Lawrence really made you root for their relationship, so you don't really pay much attention to Daniel.
I said so in the thread in the film room, he doesn't really fit in the show if he's not Issa's BF. He's not friends with anyone else in the show. A shame we won't get to see his boy Chad anymore, that nikka was hilarious.

No need to low key it boss, I think that's exactly one the points brought up with the writers. She was tired of 'Lawrence Hive' and made it clear of the intended audience. I like to believe that Lawrence is taking some time solo and eventually settling with an Aparna upgrade. Like mentioned earlier, they wrote him out of the show for good.
he doing other projects so the actor is probably cool he's not in this season.. he might come back for season 4 if they do decide to bring him back
