So i was talking to this latina chick i dated a couple years ago and her mom came up. DR be like 80% single mothers, Haiti like 5% I literally met only 2 girls in DR that were under 25 without children, and I met a lot I remember reading about Martelly. dominicans don't play that shyt either. i lived over there, and on family vacation, they even had engaged couples sleep in different bedrooms. and if you go visit your girlfriend, you will sit with her in the patio while her mother or aunt watches. they have a weird culture that is very sexualized and conservative at the same time.
