It's not about gay agenda, money over everything. If people didn't have an interest in this, then they wouldn't report about it. What's so fukking hard to understand about it? At the coli complaining about the gay agenda but threads about gay people always go platinum, you morons can't even see that reality is reflected in the real world here as well. You make a thread about a bum and it has 18 pages in a day, yet you expect the news not to report on something like this. I really cant wrap my head around how oblivious some of you are.

Smartdumb post +1

It's not news cause we're talking about it

We're talking about it cause it's news.

Same shyt would happen whether this thread is 1 or 100 pages

we can't wrap our heads around how oblivious some of you are.

the point is, gays want to be treated equally to everyone else, yet their every single move is broadcasted to the world because of their sexuality, why are these networks doing the exact thing that these gays are vehemently against, which is singling them out because of their sexuality?

why isn't the gay community expressing outrage over the continuous coverage of a gay man that came out of the closet months ago, shouldn't we be treating him just the same as the non-gay players?

no people, care about it. No matter how you feel. I was at a dinner party and it was brought up and people didn't stop talking about it for a half hour. Just because you aren't interested, doesn't mean other people aren't. I could give two fukks and I'm over it but I understand it sells because its a topic lots of people think "matters"

That's beside the point, I agree with you, could give two fukks about this nikka. But people are interested about it. I don't really understand what the gay agenda is about. Why wouldn't gay people who are in power want a significant aspect of their life in the forefront? and the fact is people care about this topic despite how the coli feels about it.

this "significant aspect" amounts to who they like to sleep with.

Jason Collins prefers men, so he deserves news conferences and other special priviliges like phone calls from Obama?

how does his sexual preference factor in to his ability to play basketball?

Lot's of people are gay, if they aren't there are still lots of people are interested in the discussion of how this will play out because of it's not something seen before. Same way there was new found interest in the presidential race because the president was black. Not comparing the two by any means but people have an interest in it so media is going to capitalize on that. If no one gave a fukk the media wouldn't either. Do I think he should get an opportunity to play just because he is gay?no, do I understand that if he does get a chance there will be unusual interest? Yes.

He probably averaged more fouls than points. Dude was a scrub when he was at Stanford.

I remember Brendan Haywood abusing both the Collin twins and Mad Dog Madsen in the tournament.

dude is living proof that the genetic lottery exist. being born only to grow to be 7' tall and slightly athletic basically gets you a meal ticket for life.

That's neither here nor there. it doesn't matter. This isn't a story any people (outside of media and gays already invested in it) would care to give a fukk about. They wouldn't be discussing it, nor wouldn't have known of it at all, without the ESPN breaking news segment or the press conferences.

And thus the thread.

This isn't what the gay agenda is about. It's about the active efforts of the media to normalize and reprogram the masses into acceptance of not homosexual individuals (which would be righteous) but homosexuality in general. The gay agenda uses media groupthink and aggressive shaming push people to accept, or at the very least not speak out against homosexuality no matter how respectfully they may disagree. For example, I don't watch a whole lot of TV but I saw this commercial all the time during football season

A commercial to get a movement behind keeping people from hurting gay folks feelings. While leaving the public free to bash Christians, muslims, ethnic groups, political parties etc.

Where were the commercials during the Richard Sherman racial slander? Or the anti islamic attacks post 9-11.

Just keep playing dumb tho

man someone should smack the shyt outta anyone making suck a ridiculous comparison.

just wait until Collins checks into a game for the first time. even if he won't be needed (which he won't be like most 10-day contract players), the Nets will make sure to put him in a game just for media attention.

you know damn well all the sports networks and maybe even news networks will have a live cut in to show this "historical moment". hell they may even show Michelle Obama crying in the crowd.
