OK here's the deal. Oh and some of y'all might be wondering why I'm doing live updates on the coli. Well I'm texting multiple people and updating yall too cause y'all are like family whether y'all believe it or not. But anyways

I was told that no one said they saw me mush him even though he was trying to say I assaulted him. Hes quiet now though since they gave him the closed door meeting. I think they gonna give him some paperwork. His friend said he didn't see anything to the police but people other people did hear him talking reckless. In short theyre more worried that I will go to EO and report racism in the workplace. My supervisor told me to take off for the night (hes a breh) and told me not to worry about it. He said I dont need to worry about losing my job or anything just for me to be more careful. Security forces was just like well if everyone is OK then they didn't feel the need to push any issue. I'm just gonna go home and reset. shyt really got me agitated.

Man this kills me so much, there is DEFINITELY potential in the community to get a major movement started. The truth is that 90% of the folk who got the skills/demeanor/insight to take the lead in such a movement are the ones with real jobs who are too worried about fukking up their money. The only way any real change is going to happen in this country is by taking the economy hostage from them, and if that happens then the community will have to be willing to suffer longer than they are willing to. That's the only way it will work.

I've studied this shyt and I know what it will take. 1/4 of the Black community could do it. Even less than that if there were non-Black allies involved, but it would take about 10 million people who were willing to commit completely to the shared objective. Just 10 million people could overthrow White Supremacy if they were willing to act.

You wouldn't even have to start with 10 million, you could start way smaller and then build up. I got some ideas for opening salvos, target a few of the worst small city governments that are particularly vulnerable. If you commit to a concrete goal, get a movement going, stay disciplined, stay nonviolent, and show that you're willing to take drastic action until your objectives are met, then you will draw people in. You just have to make it work somewhere first, and that takes commitment and discipline.

What specifically do you have in mind? A "movement" is a Coli buzzword. What in particular is the goal? The reason I believe people here don't band together to do anything is there is never an idea presented with actual direction, planning, goals, or leadership.

I went off on someone I worked with at another job in 2014 or so. Dude was talking sly saying some wild shyt. Some shyt that was borderline racial.

I told him what was the equivalent of "calm down" and I gave him and interdepartment task to do and he started barking.

I stood up and I barked at him "you're going to watch your mouth around me, I'm not your fukking wife and we're not your fukking family, if you want to talk loud and run your fukking mouth you can go home, because you're not running shyt around here."

Male staff stepped in and made sure things didn't escalate to physical contact. Kept us separate. He didn't do nothing but continue yelling "he's not going to tell me what to do! He's not gonna sit there talk about my family!"

Why that made him so angry was because he's had some domestic incidents at his house and because we are government anytime we have contact with law enforcement it's a whole ordeal. We gotta sit down with our department heads and the union and have a meeting. And of course everyone knows about it.

Hell I got a warning for speeding and had to go to a meeting.

That dude ended up leaving on his own accord after he switched hours so we wouldn't cross paths. Just talk that shyt back to them and give them all the rope they want to hang themselves. They'll publicly expose themselves and when they make a big enough fool of themselves and there witnesses all you have to do when you have your meeting with hr or whatever is say "well xxx and xxx were watching, he was saying xxxxxx, and I said xxxxx then he just went off." Then they pull in xxx and xxx and ask their sides of the story and at the end of the day there's some shyt thats just inexcusable.

Breh it got me pay. I could care less about anything else

I'm sitting here minding my business on break just browsing the coli and this CAC (early 30s) start going off to his buddy next to me about someone stealing his shyt or something. Well he said, and I quote, "it was probably one of these ******s. All they do is steal shyt anyways."

So I looked over and said ,"excuse me?" He looked back and said, "you heard me. I said what I said and if you dont like it you can get fukked". So I said to myself you know how this dude think shyt is sweet. I got up and you can tell he thought I wasnt gonna do nothing but just mouth off. Everyone thought I was gonna start stomping him out or something so his friend and another dude grabbed me back talking about ," chill out buddy. It's not worth it". As a first step, we'd end all non-crime related police harassment. There are too many departments who treat poor Black folk like a revenue stream. A lot of the shyt they do is unconstitutional but no one do anything. Put an end to revenue-building through fines, an end to racial profiling, an end to stop-and-frisk and every similar policy (it sure as hell ain't just NYC on that wave) where certain folk are targeted without being the suspects in any particular crime.

I know how to do it.

It's just one step, but in the municipalities where Black folk are a majority and yet the departments have been blatant with the mistreatment (like Ferguson), it's an almost guaranteed win so long as there's solidarity. And once we started picking up W's there'd be more people willing to take the next step. At some point once you piled up enough bodies you'd start getting proactive moves by other spots that didn't want to be next on the Summer Jam Screen. Whole states would make moves at some point, and then federal action.

Get the cops restrained, show people what they can do, and then we'd fix the school districts next. Desegregate both students and resources.

But folk too comfortable for all that right now.
