Ummm they are longer than 3 day's and you do not attend all 45 sessions lol....you pick and choose which session or sessions you would like to attend. I went to one NACE conference and I only attended 3 sessions in one day and the extra 3 days I had, I went sightseeing/club hopping and I slept a lot.

The cost of the conference is based on the # of sessions they have to facilitate, the # of rooms they have to use, the # of staff they need to facilitate that many sessions simultaneously, and the # of days they had to do that shyt, not the # of sessions you choose to attend.

The cost of the conference has to do with sponsorship, there are sponsors who pay for the majority of the bill and the cost to attend the conference goes down when there are sponsors who help pay. If a conference does not have a large sponsorship to soke up the expenses, then the price of the conference will be higher.

Even if the dvd is $29.99 it is still very cheap....For membership into the ACS it's $175 https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/membership.html then you have to pay $250 to attend the conference...
