This shyt is supposed to be for the empowerment of Black Americans and you're equating it with a money-hungry pure profit corporate move? :dahell:

Sometimes knowledge comes at a cost. Sometime to empower yourself you have to spend money. Same as going to a college.

You must be familiar with those scammy for-profit colleges that tear the money out your gut and you end up with a degree that ain't worth shyt.

Real colleges don't fukking nickel-and-dime you, they charge you one cost up front (with financial aid if you can't afford it) and after that everything is free. If there's a lecture on campus, it's free, if the class has a video link, it's free, if you want to meet with the professor afterwards, it's free.

Charging someone to watch the video of the conference they funded themselves is some scuzzy shyt.

That's not true, everything is not free. Even though students pay for tuition, they still have to pay to study abroad, pay for books, pay for parking, also students still have to pay for extracurricular activities like athletic games.

For example at USC, students have to pay for the football games, parking, study abroad and etc.

Parking Rates - USC Transportation
Costs & Scholarships > USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences
USC Athletics Tickets for Students - Ticket Office.

I guess according to you USC, is not a real college, because everything is not free.

My Alumni I went to, everything was not free.

We were talking about paying for the actual education and you're talking about football games and parking and studying in an entirely different school overseas. :dead:

Books, room and board, and literally every other required fee are covered in your original financial aid package at the beginning of the semester. In fact, if you get a full ride and then skimp on the books or room and board, you can actually MAKE money while going to college. :myman:

After that, at any decent school there ain't gonna be any costs for EDUCATIONAL shyt. Every single lecture I attended was free. Every time I wanted to use the computer lab it was free. Any class at all I wanted to view online, even if it was a class I wasn't enrolled in, was free.

We ain't talking about paying to go to a fukking football game or to park your car. We ain't talking shyt that incurs any additional costs for Tariq. We're talking about paying to watch the exact same conference that you already paid to attend.

But I don't care, it's your $29.95 not mine, go 'head and pay the man. :smugbiden:

You specifically said everything is free, but now your moving the goal post.

$29.95 is very very very small for a conference. The company I work for pays for me and a few other managers to attend chemical engineering conferences and they up in the money, the cheapest ones are held by the ACS. They are $250 for ACS members and $450 for non ACS members. https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/meetings/national-meeting/registration/pricing.html

We're not talking about $29.95 for a conference fee. We're talking $29.95 just to watch the livestream of the conference AFTER you've already paid the conference fee.

And ACS conferences are three day events utilizing entire complexes with 45 separate sessions. Tariq's conference was a few hours in one day in one room with five speakers.

If you go to a taped comedy special, you don't get a free copy of the dvd

Ummm they are longer than 3 day's and you do not attend all 45 sessions :mjlol::dead:lol....you pick and choose which session or sessions you would like to attend. I went to one NACE conference and I only attended 3 sessions in one day and the extra 3 days I had, I went sightseeing/club hopping and I slept a lot.

Your trying to talk about something you know nothing about
