-those 30 something wrestlers who are over 35 are a small number compared to the 70 something wrestlers under 35
-The reason why hunter still wrestles is because of his ego.
- i didn't necessarily focus on the ring work like I said matt got his delete gimmick in his 40s and jericho was over af in his last run
-corbin, cass, bo, and bray are trash b.

but guys like reigns stroman, rusev, usos on that list of who you consider good are so young so just imagine 5 years from now:ohlawd:
and you telling me some of these people who are like 20 wont develop something by the time they are 30:ohlawd:

Years of experience racks up breh.

Jericho was not over as anything in his last run. Maybe in his mind, and maybe in the wrestling bubble, but not in reality. At this point hes more over with Fozzy.

Hunter definitely wrestles out of ego, but he also does it because its best for business:skip:

When Mania rolls around and a late 20 year old, early 30 somethings see HHH's name they might actually watch. Nobody knows who Kevin owens and Sami Zayn are. Nobody knows who Finn Balor is. Reality is, no pun intended, but Naomi is more over than these losers from being on Total Divas.

This is why i really think its funny that when wrestling fans say Vince is out of the touch they dont see the irony. Yall watch NJPW, all these indies, but forget about all other forms of entertainment. Between watching 5 hours a week of WWE and then consuming NXT and indies you have wasted all of your free time. The fans are just as out of touch. Only in this small niche community does anybody know who Sami Zayn is.

Like I said before, theres a reason Ric Flair got a 30 for 30 and Dynamite Kidd didnt. AND saying Cass Corbin Bray and Bo are wack shows you are in the bubble. Thats some shyt Meltzer would say. :skip:

Im telling you guys....just stop. Watch other things. Do something else. Wrestling now is trash. Get outside the bubble.

Austin after Owen broke his neck was just a brawler.
Hogan wasnt shyt for a wrestler
Ric Flair did the same match every night for 30 years.
Ultimate Warrior was trash.

Every wrestler in the modern era wants to be HBK. Only difference is he didnt give a fukk and talked mad shyt. The guys of today are too shy to speak in public. These guys are beta males. They are not built to be television stars. The guys of today are the hip hop equivalent to dudes who have mad bars but 0 presence. How many of those guys hit the big time??? None?

At best these guys could be stunt doubles in a Tony Jaa movie. No normal humans are checking for this wrestling shyt.

flair and Austin we're good workers not great athletes but still put on classic matches. But yes the difference is the promos were crazy back then they weren't held back by a woman running for Senate and the other reasons they went pg and other interference. You do know writers and Vince write what these guy say right? Or check shyt they want to say at the door now right?

The bad writing is only part of the problem. The guys dont have powerful voices, they dont come up with any imitable mannerisms, they are incapable of coming up with catch phrases. A lot of these guys just straight up sound like pussies.

If two kids were doing WWE shyt across the street you could tell who is The Rock and who is Austin just from their punches. Now think about all the mannerisms they had that people could easily imitate, all the shyt you remember........and not even a word was said. Now tell me how to tell who is who if kids did this with modern wrestling. All these dudes just walk out there, do the same exact moves the same exact way as every other guy on the roster. Meltzer puts it over so the smart fans think they are great. .....Breh they are all trash. If KO wasnt a fat shyt what would the difference be between him and Sami Zayn? D Lo Brown did more memorable shyt and he was a low card guy. 20 years later you know what I'm talking about. D LO >>> KO

My response was to show that having a young roster doesnt mean shyt if they are wack.

The worst part is that Hunter is the biggest mark of them all, hes the one that keeps hiring all these guys. Once he takes over its gonna be a smart marks wet dream, but they will 100 percent lose their TV deal. The niche audience will just keep shrinking. Thats what yall want though.:manny:

I disagree with your statements.

And what do you mean???? So you're saying if they are wack now they will still be wack after years of experience?
The rock didn't come in as the rock stone cold didn't start his wrestling career as stone cold. kane ass was once a dentist.

Ya'll try to shoehorn that in every chance you get :mjlol:

The desperation.

Aj is the inring goat breh

It just is,....
If aj never makes the WWE.
Db had the goat sewn up, except health undercut db being the goat. If db comes back, only reason he will not be the goat over aj is aj at this point has worked and come out unscathed and healthy given the brevity of the scheduling.
So as of right now,....at this point aj is the greatest wrassler in any promotion we have ever seen, ever.

"the only guys over 35 are...."

*Proceeds to list thirty names* :skip:

The reason why guys like Hunter still wrestle is because people still remember him. He has charisma. Ask Bret Hart and he'll tell you Hunter is trash in the ring. Hes right. But here we are 20 something years later and hes still relevant. And speaking of old guys, imagine the power Batista would have if he returned now that he is a movie star. Its not about how good your matches are, its all about your star power. Theres a reason why there's a 30 for 30 on Ric Flair on ESPN and not on the Dynamite Kid.

From that entire jumbo list of guys under 35 theres only a handful that I think are entertaining or have personality. :jbhmm:

You do realize that if the workrate and promos are dialed back so no one can ever upstage the son in law. Then I hope you realize you will never get a talent that could overshadow the son in law over a period of time.
that the promotion can not change the narrative dynamic of said grappler. If the entire promotion's face is cut off so as not to spite the face of the son in law.
You are never gonna see anyone speak confidently on the mic consistently in the WWE after punk and db ever again. You will never see a talent with mic skills allowed to showcase them consistently. Where they can rival the star power of the son in law after db. So, understand the reason why you never see talent who can go on the mic anymore in the WWE. Is simply the company has set it up so no talent can overshadow the son in law. Of, which the son in law sucks on the mic and after db will never allow another talent to be or look dominant enough to create a boom period or talent capable of creating another boom period after db.

So, I hope you understand that for as long as the WWE is active. There will never be another talent allowed to eclipse or marginalize the son in law in WWE.

How you can not see that, I dunno.

Please don’t ever compare Ric Flair to the Dynamite Kid ever again, thanks.

You do know writers and Vince write what these guy say right? Or check shyt they want to say at the door now right?

But you can't blame the script writers for the lack of promo skills. Rocky asked Brian Gewirtz to write all of his promos for him during his last run. Jericho had Jimmy Jacobs help him come up with his material during his last run. A lot of these guys cut bad promos because they're bad at cutting promos. Balor (for example) has never been a good promo even before he got to WWE It's not the script writers' fault. AJ has actually improved his promo cutting since coming to WWE and the scripts have probably played a part in that. The only time script writers are a problem is when the material doesn't match the character (example Reigns and that sufferin' succotash nonsense) but even then they can't control the delivery (though no delivery could save that sufferin' succotash shyt). The whole PG thing is also a red herring. WCW was PG when they had the hottest act in the business and when Nitro was kicking RAW's ass on a weekly basis. It's not about the TV rating it's about the stories and WWE has forgotten how to tell good stories. A bad story with more cursing is still a bad story. WWE can't book good, likable babyfaces anymore. On RAW you had Michael Cole jizzing himself when The Shield were ganging up on a guy wearing a neck brace. PG or TV-14 that's still a bad segment.

To get back to the topic of the thread. WWE's roster is bloated. The roster is bloated because WWE just doesn't have the capacity to book all 130 people listed there in a way that would deliver a consistently entertaining product. They're just hoarding people. They may have a lot of depth and young wrestlers who may improve when they get to their peak years but they also run the risk of having a lot of stale guys on the roster because a lot of those depth guys aren't even doing anything of note. Dolph is 37 smack dab in a wrestler's peak years and he looks stale because WWE have jerked him around a lot booking wise and he's been around for a long time. Better care should be taken of the younger guys now in order to secure their future.

what's the difference between the modern day rock and Jericho and Finn Balor? Not saying he is a good promo Because he isn't but he can't write write his own ticket like Jericho and the rock. And the wrestling is most certainly held back by the ratings and the writers and the old guard.. Meltzer and Alveraz says the shyt every week.
