U gotta drop us tips and workout routines that he helped u with breh.

The main thing I learned from my time with them was the power of your mind and the importance of being in a strong mindset before and during every workout. I also realised that I limit myself far too much and never push the boundaries of what my body is capable of, which I now aim to do during every session. My mentality before a workout now is to push my body in to a position it's never been in before so that I am constantly forcing my body to improve. I also remind myself before every gym workout how lucky I am to have the opportunity to be able to exercise and that I do not want to waste any potential I have - I've got one life and I want to be in the best shape I can possibly achieve.

I also learned a lot more about how to train smarter (particularly with regards to bodybuilding). I have been using the Flex Lewis and Neil Hill Y3T training system for months now and it is awesome - there are 3 weeks and each week your rep ranges, rep tempos and weights change meaning you're constantly changing the way you target and stimulate your muscles. The more I watch Flex and Neil train I gain a lot more knowledge in how to effectively perform a movement with correct form and tempo, focusing on 'squeezing' the muscle and stimulating it instead of throwing weight around.

You'll be amazed what progress you can make by being in a strong, confident and motivated mental state.

Episode 2 dropped yesterday. This week is a 10 minute episode and there is a full back and biceps workout with myself and Flex. Check it out if you get a spare 10 minutes, I'm feeling really inspired after watching this episode to be fair. Can't wait to hit the gym in a bit :blessed:

How did they handle your nutrition during the show?

It was really cool actually, we spent A LOT of time with Flex and Neil so Flex took us to all of his favourite places to eat around Santa Monica whilst we were there (and as they were his favourite places to eat their menus were bodybuilder friendly). I ended up just ordering whatver Flex did :russ: He eats super clean and I only ever saw him drinking water. Majority of his meals were simple and included things like veggies, rice, chicken, quinoa, salmon, avocado.

I loved the cuisine out there :blessed: On the final night I had my first ever Cheescake Factory experience :noah:

Started yesterday. Was doing GVT, then switched to a hypertrophy routine. It was time for a new routine, so I figured I'd try this joint and see how it feels. Will let you know.

Aye, similar to me I'd only ever really trained in a GVT style with lots of volume but would always stick in the 10-12 rep range.

I'm sure you've read up and researched the program already but one of the key things to focus on is the rep tempo (speed of your rep) as they change slightly each week. Week 1 (heavy week) you want each rep to last at least 5 seconds (typically a 4 second eccentric/negative/lowering of weight). Week 2 you want your reps to last about 3 seconds and week 1 around 1-2 seconds. Also on week 3 where you perform sets of up to 50 reps use 'paused rest' during your sets where you drop the stack and rest for 5-10 seconds then continue. I'd recommend following Neil Hill on Instagram too (@neil_yoda_hill1) and watch videos of him on YouTube because his techniques are perfect. Have fun dude!
