:myman:

Mike is still laid up in Mexico shot the fukk up.

As far as the kid....

In ep 12 when Walt sends his fam away he's sitting by the pool spinning the gun. Twice it points to himself....kinda like God/fate/whatever saying "you're the source of all this evil"....the 3rd time it points to:

Breaking-Bad-Lily-of-the-Valley.jpg

Breakin Bad soundtrack Apollo Sunshine - We Are Born When We Die - YouTube

That's when he got the idea. That's obviously the same plant we see at the end of ep 13.

And as far as Walt....if you hate him now :wow:

He's a monster in season 5. Walt died in that crawl space, laughing. It's all Heisenberg now.

Fred.
wow, ok, i didn't catch that. Not looking forward to see "it" get much worst. smh.

Walt was wrong for poisoning the kid but that don't make me hate him at all. He used something that was only mild and temporary, I don't see the big deal in that, smart move if u ask me.

:dwillhuh: mild? the kid almost died!

If Jesse had suggested that he was poisoned he woulda been dead.
Walt is a fukkin scumbag.

No argument here when it comes to Walt being a piece of sh!t, I don't like him and I totally agree.

But the kid almost died? I got the impression that he was just sick for a little while, nothing serious. Maybe I got it wrong but it seemed to be a mild poisoning to me.

As far as Walt in season 4....

Kid was seriously sick and could've died. Which is why Walt was like :whew: when Jesse told him Brock would be ok. Walt knew the risks and still did it like :manny:

SEASON 5 SPOILERS BELOW....

Poisoning the kid was terrible but it was some do-or-die shyt. IMO Walt was worse in season 5. Sabotaging Jesse's relationship, planting the "ricin" cigarette, being like :yeshrug: when the kid got shot, going all the way in on Jesse ("you've got nothing, no one....oh yeah, video games"), whistling, killing Mike, showing up to Hank's house after the 9 guys got murked like :troll:

Season 5 showed why Walt needs something to keep him in check. Either the circumstances in his life or an antagonist like Krazy 8 or Tuco or Gus or Mike. Left to his own devices he's a monster.

This Friedrich Nietzsche quote sums up Walt, and "Breaking Bad", perfectly:

Of all the evil I deem you capable. Therefore I want the good from you. Verily I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws.

Walt found his claws over the course of the series.

Vince said he was gonna make people hate Walt by the end of the show.

They haven't done anything to make Walt as disliked as Vic Makey. They are making Dexter unlikable with relative ease. They did it somewhat with Tony Soprano. Vince thought he was gonna be able to do it with his limited skill set. :bryan:

They did a flash forward to show how Walt ended up, straight up jacking Lost steez. The show ends with Hank going after Walt because Hank found a clue. Show stays away from high drama (sometimes) and cliches, but it doesn't do much else well.

I don't know what's worse. You praising "Dexter" for making a fukking serial killer "unlikeable with relative ease" or your dumb ass actually thinking "Lost" invented flash-fowards.

I'm gonna assume you're :troll: because half your posts seem to be on some Twilight Zone, go-against-the-grain shyt.

I'm about to watch 5 episode 8 now. I'll comment after I watch it. But honestly, Walt =
Michael Corleone. Has no understanding of the business. And tries to "solve" everything by killing. Gus was like Vito. Sure, violence is one way. But Vito understood how it worked. This honestly needs to be the last season. Because no way can Walt last in the drug game like this. Sure it's survival of the fittest but it's rules as well. He doesn't get that, and I'll be glad when he get popped. Though if that Scarface movie he was watching is foreshadowing, everybody gonna die.

Ep 8 is bananas. I wish you could've posted in the original thread during the season, people were going nuts.

I bet it was.
Seems like the prison scene was sorta like an ode to the Godfather. Not exactly but it came off like the ending to Godfather 1. With sorta like Godfather 2 when he was looking out the window. Maybe I'm reaching but that's how he felt.

Hopefully, every episode in the Final half will have as much drama as this season. As well as action. Not sure how it end though but hopefully he gets popped.)

Yeah, I missed out on that too.

I usually check Breaking Bad as soon as its out but with the 5th season I didn't watch the whole thing till a couple of weeks ago.

Looking forward to the last part of the season. Should be great.

Yeah that "Godfather" shout out was intentional. Likewise so was the "Heat" reference in ep 5, when Hank mentions "Heat on Blu-Ray" then the same ep the new guy (Todd) murks a witness during the heist which leads to more problems. That's the exact same plot as "Heat".

On a side note: dunno if you noticed but the book of poetry first popped up in season 3, ep 5 "Sunset":

500x1000px-LL-cc4f62a6_breakingbadsunset.png

It was after this scene:

Also the book of poetry popped up a few times this season, but most people didn't notice:

Lastly, this ep had a few shout outs to previous seasons. The scene at the end with his fam is an exact mirror of season 2, ep 1:

gliding39.jpg

The paper towel dispenser is a shout out to season 2, ep 9:

gliding38.jpg

Walt uses the same line on Lydia as Mike used on him in season 4, ep 2: "Learn to take yes for an answer".

Lydia uses the same line on Walt as Tuco used on him in season 1, ep 7: “We’re going to make a LOT of money together.”

The painting in the scene with the neo-Nazis was in season 2, ep 3:

etc etc etc. Lots more stuff too.
