Yeah, Pepe's tops a lot of national lists. There's two other places within a few blocks (Sally's & Modern Pizza) that people swear by as well. They each have their own camps.

The best pizza I've ever had was either in Astoria or Long Island City Queens called Twins pizza. Close to the 59th street bridge. It's closed down now but it was ridiculous.

italian fiesta is good, but IMO, they are kinda pricey. I don't usually go there, cuz it's out of the way from my house. but my old job was right by the one on 47th and lake park, so I ate there many a times back when i worked in the area.
