He was much better during regular season for Clippers than he was as a Laker, also his first playoffs with Clippers were much better than the 2nd year.

This dude was legitimately bad as a Laker, it almost felt like he was doing that shyt on purpose. Never seen a guy hit the backboard more than Russ during his tenure with Lakers.

His numbers as a Lakers were virtually the same as his numbers as a Clipper. People just dgaf about the Clippers.

His best stretch was his first 20 games as a Clipper after the trade deadline but his full season as a Laker was better statistically than his full season as a Clipper. His playoff numbers in 2023 were higher in volume due to PG and Kawhi being out but he was more inefficient.

Westbrook needed the ball in his hands, and LeBron needed to be off ball. With AD, that arrangement would've worked.

Not really an indictment on Bron, and more just how good players look with Jokic. It helps that Russ can just situate himself in the backcourt and not encroach on Jokic down low.

Their chemistry has been effortless. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Russ defer as much to one player before.
