Obama has been caving even when they had control of the House as well as the Senate. Don't think you're talking to someone who isn't aware of that fact.

Obama begins negotiating with himself, and then he comes to the table. I'm tired of Democrats doing that shyt. They've been doing it for 33 years now.

Lol, you seem to forget that not all democrats are liberal. A good chunk of those dems ewere fiscal conservatives. So what the hell is Obama supposed to do?

Not be a p*ssy ass negotiator to start.

But let's say that he was held hostage by Tea Party Members and Blue Dogs Dems..

what the fukk does that have to do with his Justice Department and the FBI, which answer directly to him, being complicit in working for and with Big Banks, and also refusing to being criminal charges to HSBC? What do Republicans and Blue Dogs have to do with that?

I'll wait.

You keep forgetting that this current Dem Party is not about the middle class. They throw some bones here and there to keep the voting cattle in line, but they have Wealthy Donors and Hollywood Interests to answer to.

This isn't just on Obama though, it's the entire Democratic Party since 1980.

simple fact of the matter is obama came with a 250, and saw that raised to 450. that's not a significant hike. right now, republicans are losing in the polls, with the american public overwhelmingly opposed to their position. obama has forced republicans to either vote against this in the house and see tax hikes on every american, or offer SOME relief to the middle class by agreeing to the compromise hammered out between reid and mcconnell. this will alienate an already dejected conservative constituency that continues to withdraw support for the republicans.

we knew that democrats would not get everything they wanted. that's not obama's fault. he didn't cave. the extremism of the republican party made an alternative impossible, sad to say. is this a big win for dems? no, of course not. but this is still a loss for the republicans, and the damage will have significant bearing on their party's ability to hold onto the majority in 2014.

some of you are just like the tea party, pushing an extreme that simply isn't tenable. you take what you can, and you keep moving forward. obama and the dems have just shown that the republicans don't care about the economy. the polls will only show increasing support for obama. it's chess.

It's not about being extreme, but I mean, Obama and the Dems basically won the election but let the Republicans treat them like they lost. While this is par for the course for Democrats, it doesn't actually make much sense.

he made a promise to work hard to make sure that the top 2 percent pay their fair share of taxes. 450 and up is the top 1 percent. And I really am anticipating his stupid ass explanation as to why YET AGAIN he made a promise he did not keep.

So let me ask you this.......

You are okay with a family making 400 K and less receives a TAX CUT?

400K isn't really a lot of money, when divided by a married couple with children. that won't get you far in any major city.

one thing to keep in mind about the 400 is that it includes people filing as a household(which is a large amount of people)

200k actually puts alot of families in the north east in line for tax hikes because they file as a family and that area is more expensive(pays more too) than others

i thought the couple's tax rate was hiked at 450K...

and really, it only raises the taxes for the money earned above that point. the money earned below that point is at the old rate.

Check the first post in this forum guys......

The huffingtonpost is hilarious. I love how they use the headline "GOP Caves" while they were saying "OBama" caves before.
