I can’t speak for northern Maine but these areas areas are generally too yuppie to engage in racism openly but classism will be rampant in some areas.

Lewiston, Maine actually has a big Somali population. Not sure how race relations are.

The "civilized" Mainers live along the 95 corridor or towards the seacoast. The further away you get from 95, the more it gets.
