Two or three days before his decision he gave a speech at the convocation. Talking about the university's proud history and its future, etc, etc, knowing full well what he was about to do He stayed getting flamed in the Hilltop. He makes $970,000 a year but, the school is falling apart. The tuition spikes every year. Howard's tuition was $12,000 in 2007. In 2013, it's $22,000. Tuition will go up another $2,000 next year. Thankfully, I have 14 credits left...i'll be done this spring. I will be highly pissed if the school loses its accreditation

Isn't the school too damn big to lose it's accreditation? You usually hear about smaller schools with questionable academics, or those online schools with accreditation issues.

Howard is no where near closing anything lol If Fisk is still hanging around then Howard isn't even close to shutdown. The private institutions always have the financial issue talk rumbling.

I have actually seen a few public HBCUs get better and better with the times even with the state funding issues.
