He needs to come to Utah. We need to build a bit more and we should be able to reach the conference finals

Brolic... Alcoholics
This season and last season, they were injured. In 15 they blew that lead to the Rockets. In 14 was when he did that silly ass flop against okc and they ended up losing.

Breh... how would you describe the rosters that Melo's been on?

Damn, actually, most of this was actually compelling.

The thing is thought, CP3 is clearly the more complete player, and individual who everyone would concede impacts his entire team in more ways than Melo can. The size difference is actually irrelevant. SO on that point, I disagree with it's relevance.

Regarding Melo being at home because he couldn't get his team to the playoffs - I mean, if we look at his stats, he's been pretty consistent. Whether that's a negative or positive, we know what we get with him. I always think about Lebron - who's head and shoulders better than Melo - literally have to go super-saiyan to make it competitive when he had Shump/J.R as his no.2 and no. 3 options, respectfully, when Love/Kyrie were unavailable for the finals. That literally was Melo's no.2/no.3 options for most of his Knicks tenure post 50 win season.

I'm a Melo fan, but just trying to be objective. :manny:

I appreciate your open-mindedness and willingness to engage in a thoughtful dialogue rather than just name calling :salute:.

Size can never be irrelevant in the NBA. The bigger you are, the more impact you can have on the game...the more you can do. Smaller players have to more complete, just to get in the league. Your average 6'0 NBA player is gonna have a more complete game than your average 6'8 guy because he has to. All things being equal, you always take the bigger guy.

Numbers don't always tell the whole story. In the NBA an individual player has inordinate impact on the game on both ends, more so than any other team sport. Superstars in their prime should not be going 4 years without making the playoffs no matter what. And if they do, it's just silly to try to bash other superstars that are in the playoffs as a means of protecting them.

Who were Melo's 2 and 3 options the year the Knicks won 50 games? Who were the number 2 options (shyt the number 1 options) on some of these teams that have finished ahead of the Knicks? 2015 actually wasn't Bron's best or close to it. His jumper was not there but he still did his all around thing and the team as a whole played great D. You must acknowledge the irony in those guys going from being "not enough help" throwaways to playing key roles in a Finals run.

My whole stance is about consistency. If you don't go on and on about the "leastern" conference or clown guys for playoff failures in order to :cape: for guys that didn't make it and you just keep it a buck then my comments were not for you.
