Used to go to house shows, ppvs, buy ppvs, buy merchandise go to autograph signings, cop all videogames, scream phrases mark out , read spoilers. Watch every minute knew every wrestler but yeah haven't peeped wrestling in prob almost a decade

Same people who have something to say about adults watching wrestling will turn around watch and talk about reality shows like they're real.
Same people will sit and discuss breaking bad like that shyt is American history.
And
if you think 'real sports' are never 'fixed' ...nothing is what it seems on TV.At the end of the day I'm not scared to be entertained.

or game of thrones, I mean its some fantasy shyt with zombies and dragons, grown men stay referencing lines from movies quotes from tv shows like they are real.. like the event in breaking bad could actually happen, people act like the wire was a documentary.. But you don't get why we watch wrestling?

But I honestly I think its cause wrestling always had a low brow, carny racist redneck negative stereotype to it, even when it was hot in the 80'-90's people weren't vocal about it, it was always the guilty pleasure, I am shocked at how many people admit to having watched it during those days cause back then nobody admitted to it.. I remember being in school and waiting for the small group of people that I knew that watched so I could talk about it, all the "cool" kids were chasing women and talking about sports and hip hop, wrestling never had public appeal.. So if you still don't get it OP then you never will or you probably secretly watch it and don't want to admit cause you are the only one you know that does..

Pro Wrestling has just the right amount of fukkery for me after I get home from work. Where else can I watch an actor do all of their own stunts in a dangerous playground like setting?
shyt is entertaining, somethings still amaze me and the characters/stories are pretty good too. It's more intriguing than football or basketball, even though I still play basketball and watch both.

@September pretty much covered it for me.
Just to add on though, it's one of the rare forms of entertainment that still has a live audience that can shift the writers plans at a moment's notice.
Also the fact that wrestling's most watched show airs completely live means there's so much fukkery in the TSC thread and on Twitter that you can't help but be entertained in some way.
If you think the product itself is trash after watching it than cool but I never understood people who stopped watching simply cause it was scripted.
If you look into pro wrestling's history, it actually was legit in the 20s and early 30s but they would 60 min snorefest matches so a group of promoters decided to start determining winners to help fan interest.
