Defiantly, Maybe $7m to $55m

his movies make profits some of them good but most aren't run away successes but they make money

kinda depends on what you consider to be "his movies" tho. And yea, that can get subjective depending.

For ex, most would agree that blade trinity, at the time at least, was considered more so as a snipes movie, given his role as the title character and main focus in the previous two films.

More so, Blade 2, had a 54 million dollar budget and brought in 150 million world wide, so compared to the 65m/128m with Reynolds involved... and then the 44m/131m that was Blade 1... and i wouldn't say that Trinity speaks at all to Reynolds drawing power, no more so than megan fox with the transformer movies

But Mel was more vital to his success than Galifinakis is my point. He writes and directs and I bet he gets more of a piece of the cut than Gal has ever made. Let's not act like he even getting an 8th of the money those movies have grossed unlike Mel. They better keep making those Hangover sequels b/c after that no one will remember him. of course Mel has history on his side but he can't even promote a movie right now.
