The way I read it is, Beal having a higher ceiling than Ray Allen in his prime. Not sure how it could be understood anyway.

But the question was: did you watch Ray in his prime? Not trying to be disrespectful....

A prime Ray was taller, more athletic, a better shooter (best 3 point of all time) with a higher quicker release, and better finisher inside.

I hope Beal can be better than Ray cause I like wall and the wizards but it's unlikely.

I apologize for coming out of pocket like that, I was listening to hit em up when I made that post :birdman:

What I mean by past prime ray allen is, older/slower more spot up shooter ray allen, I watched Prime ray allen, I was heart broken when the bucks beat the Hornets.

Theres no way in hell Beal will be better then prime ray allen, a better prime ray allen would be a #1 pick

^ I see, actually I did read it wrong. I see what you were trying to say Beal at most=Ray Allen in Boston. Now I can agree with that.

wade isnt even top 40
dude had ill playoff run in 2006, specifically in the finals (which we all no now was rigged) where there was a foul called everytime they breathed on him.
since den, hes done NOTHING to warrant being in da top 20/30 discussion (swept in playoffs, missing playoffs, no mvps) and now hes essentially riding lebrons coat tails

ppl seriously need to chill

how is dis nikka even better den a prime allen iverson?

Not buying it, ask Lin

In February, he broke 25 6 times (20, 9 times) in 13 games before facing Miami when scouts claimed "the book was out on Lin". He only broke 20 twice in the next 14 games.

You're not scoring at the rate Wade does for almost a decade on a fluke, especially if you're the primary option.

Where are you reading my posts as saying that Wade is trash? I never wrote that. Top-10 all-time at his position isn't trash. He is a hall of fame caliber if he never plays another game. I only question your top-20 opinion. That's where we disagree.

Ray Allen was always a great scorer, Beal can be an elite scorer and elite defender. Beal can be a top 5 FTA player. Allen was never that nor close. I love Ray Ray but he was never an elite player. He was always a top 5 SG but he was never elite. He only played on one side of the court till he joined Boston.

If Beal was as explosive as you say he'd be the #1 pick, if anything he'll have the craftyness of a brandon roy, but hes not on the same level of athlete athleticism as rookie kobe, dwade, t-mac, VC, like i said at best he'll be an eddie jones, past prime ray allen type player

No one is getting drafted over Davis unless it's Lebron in this decade. Davis is as surefire a pick there is at #1 . I watched Beal in SL and pre-season. The kid can be flat out impossible to defend and he can defend. He's not a freak athlete in the sense of Wade or MJ but he is an extremely good athlete with long arms and great feet like Jerry West.

:russ: at wade being top 20 all-time. I hope Beal and Lillard can have great rookie seasons, I'm thinking either one of them can win RoTY.

lol if anything, Dion Waiters looked like Wade out there more than Beal. Even though it was just one game, when Waiters was attacking the rim, it was :lawd: His shot is ugly as fukk, but his attack game is :obama: He is in much better shape than he was in summer league. Beal still have lots to work on and improve, but he will be really good. Its just one game, but onto the next one I suppose :manny:
