What backlash are they getting? Absolutely none. Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the best ways for companies to get good PR. This is one of the tactics in business.

No one is mad at that, some Instagram pictures is not real support. At the end of the day these companies are still being ran by majority white employers.

If you are happy with slogans, good for you. I would rather these companies hire and put more black people in higher positions (real support). You can enjoy your graphics though.:yeshrug:

Dude c00ns and white supremacists are furious about all these companies supporting black people. Go look at the comments under those pictures. They're losing their minds about these companies supporting black people. It's burning their souls

I'm beginning to think that these companies only pandering for our money instead of being genuine and actually want change for us.
These white owned companies see us promoting black businesses during these times and getting away from them and they do not like that one bit.

Ok this white woman was unarmed and killed by a white cop. He wasn't fired or arrested. Are these companies gonna put white lives matter everywhere to pander to white people so white people don't boycott them?

Hannah Fizer was driving to her job at an Eagle Stop convenience store in Sedalia when she was pulled over by a Pettis County sheriff’s deputy about 10 p.m. Saturday.

The 25-year-old had recently been promoted to assistant manager, her family said, and she was working the night shift that evening.

During traffic stop, the deputy shot and killed Fizer.
I think that all reckless killing should be harshly regulated and punished, yeah.

It's all about the net, and the outcome is positive for these companies regardless of a vocal minority.

is this what we wanted or is this a fad now?....:gucci:

Both. But now is the time to press the advantage. If you let this slip by, you'll be regretting it for another 50 years.

It can piss them off but the company is still in good financial and PR position by the majority.

Starbucks the other day banned their employees from wearing any BLM clothing, they got backlash all day and reversed it right away. That's real pressure. Remember when WS got mad at their cups? Nothing happened.

No one takes WS boycotts seriously, even NASCAR doesn't give a shyt anymore.

Lets go back to Starbucks example, they probably posted a lot of BLM support last few weeks on their socials and then what happened? They banned their employers from showing support at work. Who do you think made that decision? The white employers in charge. This is why you need more black people in those positions. Hiring > pander support. I have no issue with them pandering if they are also hiring and putting ppl in good positions.

It’s definitely a fad. F**k white people and c00ns

:heh:

there is a very thin line when it comes to BLM
like who is supporting the movement to create actual change
and who is obviously riding the wave to benefit themselves

i've even seen local white owned businesses advertising BLM
just to sell there product, this isn't a long term thing for most and thats what gets a lot of people angry

Why are people in here so hung up on companies caring about your well being? Companies are always going to do what's in their best interest and it shouldn't be any other way.

This is how change happens. Public opinion changes, society changes, then if your lucky laws change. But this is how it has always started.

Nike doesn't care about you because Nike is company and companies dont have feelings.

Like I said before, f**k white businesses and people. They really don't support BLM, they just post/portray what they think people will like.

A shame it took 200 years and race wars to get companies to notice Black people exist..

It's all phony...nothing has changed since 2020...things have just gotten worse...

Yeah, it's very unfortunate. What happened in 2020 put Black people in the spotlight and we could've changed things for this gen and future generations.

But like you said nothing changed and things are going to get worst.
