That's a theory by one guy that was discredited decades ago. It fails in every step.


1. the polio vaccine trial in question made its vaccine from African Green Money tissue cultures. African Green Monkeys carry a different version of SIV than the version that infects humans. The human HIV is closest related to chimpanzee SIV, not african green monkey SIV, so it can't have originated from african green monkey tissue.


2. All remaining stock from those polio vaccine trials were tested when the theory emerged, and not a single one tested positive for SIV.

3. The oldest human samples of HIV date to the late 1950s. These samples are genetically different from each other, meaning that HIV had already been circulating in the human population long enough to evolve into different strands of HIV. Multiple genetic studies suggest that HIV originated sometime between 1915 and 1941, most likely in the 1930s, LONG before the polio trials.

So we have no idea in the polio synthesis in Africa. With no real record.
Of what monkey was used. As corners were cut.
As we can not recreate conditions.

you can not recreate negligence.

All it takes is a small microbe. Which in regards to the hypothesis. We have no way to go back and tell. what level of systemic negligence actually took place.

All we can do is find the cure. Not treatment. The cure.


As that is the issue with modern medicine. They are not developing cures. They are developing negligent drug dealer called pharmaceutical companies based treatments.

I would assume that all strands of HIV originally came from people butchering bushmeat or trophies from apes infected with SIV. In the process of butchering, they got some of the infected blood in a cut on their body and it spread in their system.

There are 4 different groups of HIV, suggesting that SIV leaped to humans and became HIV four different times in history. Three of these HIV groups are most closely related to an SIV strain found only in central chimpanzees in the area of Cameroon. The other HIV group is most closely related to a strain found in gorillas.

All we can do is find the cure. Not treatment. The cure.

As that is the issue with modern medicine. They are not developing cures. They are developing negligent drug dealer called pharmaceutical companies based treatments.
They are not creating cures.

We need cures.

The capitalist profit model for modern medicine is fukked up and we need something different.

But viruses are also really hard to cure, especially viruses that attack the immune system. HIV is specifically hard because it constantly mutates inside the body to evade the immune system, faster than any other virus I know of. I think the treatments they have for AIDS are pretty damn good considering, better than I ever expected.
