couldn't have said it better. Krit's mixtapes were dope, album was subpar. Cole is a better rapper, hands down, he just needs more diversity in his sound

I finally caught the hype of Return 4ever, and it's easily better than Sidline Story. The difference was, I felt what Krit was saying. more than what Cole was rapping about
So u comparing krit mixtape to cole album, krit has a album also which was wack as fukk, I say. J cole the warm upcand friday night lights is equal to or better than krit wuz here and return of 4eva, and I think cole album was a lot better, and cole just recently killed his and Kendrick on a song
Plus all the non released material put him way over the top of krit

yea man...i was disappointed with Krit's album but that's because the mixtapes were that good...especially the first two. i feel he tried or was forced to cater to certain audiences & stigmas with the sound on most of his album...and maybe clearing samples was an issue too.
I couldn't get into Cole as much. I know he's very skilled & i liked a couple songs, but i wasn't grabbed by what i heard from him.

Cole, to me, just comes off as a prototype rapper. When you think of an average rapper, spitting on average beats, with average hooks you'd get Cole. He's a passing grade. You graduate but you'd know you could still do better.
Not to diss cause I'll listen to him from time to time, and was really feeling that new EP but hes got the pieces and they move right but there's still something missing from his music.
Krit, has a similar image but with a southern taste to it. The difference is Krit has more personality and takes more risks beat wise. He also switches up his lyricism so that people with different taste in hip-hop have at least one KRIT song they'll like or at least a verse.
