The WHC title is not the same title that was in the NWA was it as far as lineage is concerned unless im mistaken and the WWE title is the one that all the greats like Hogan Macho and Austin have held. But what really got me confused was why did they scrap their original tag titles for the ones they got now. It would seem like they would want to continue the lineage of all he great teams that held those titles.

The E says that the history of it got washed but then they put out a DVD including all of that history in conjunction with the post 2000s stuff.
That title is just as "created" as the WHT as no one in its history beat the Unified WWE Champion to win back the WCW/NWA title.

PERIOD. The WHC lineage starts with HHH...and it is held with dolph ziggler.

The last wcw champion in wcw was booker t, and the last holder of the wcw belt in wwf was chris jericho.
