Dude faked his death. That's why Vader stepped on the robe like :dwillhuh:

Obi-wan teleported before he got touched by the light saber he learned how to all those years in seclusion on tatooine...........

Nah,he was dead the whole time like the sixth sense :smugfavre:

it would have been a wrap if Obi didn't learn how to communicate with Luke after he died.

He didnt necessarily die, but he became one with the force. Only a few masters knew how to do this i believe. Im rusty, somebody do a fact check on that.

he basically made luke seek out the force, so he was indirectly responsible for ethering the death star, palpatine, and turning vader back to the light.

Correct. He and Yoda basically combined efforts in his training to get Luke as strong as possible in a short time.

yeah, that nikka obi-wan just gave up the ghost. so it's like he had the ability to be anywhere at anytime and appear to anyone because he became one with the force in the sense that he "transfered" into another realm and had control over it.

this is why i'm interested in what obi-wan learned while he was in seclusion on tatooine. i mean, it's implied qui-gon taught him almost in the same way he taught luke, but what exactly did he learn? just that technique? when you think about it, the jedi had the ultimate advantage considering the fact that could teach someone from beyond the grave (i mean, this is not counting the stuff the expanded universe talks about because if you count those things, you've got a lot of explaining to do)...

That face says it all. He herbed Vador and was in full beast mode. Yoda just forgot to teach him how to block the lightening.
