Personally, for what 2K5 was and considering it only cost $20 brand new, it'll most likely never be topped in many peopls minds. Presentation wise, it's still amazing. The camera cuts, the draft analysis, the halftime highlights, weekly highlights, etc. however, I hated to play the game b/c I hated how the players moved.
if EA can fix Madden's AI, and up the presentation even more, it can be better.....but they're too lazy.

Why is he a loser? Because he's pointing out horrible flaws in the game? Go to the 9 minute mark of that video, and explain to me how he's a loser, when the game is acting like that? And as to your second statement, it's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. The ppl that care about this are the ppl that want to play a sim football game. Everyone understands it's a video game, but that doesn't excuse laziness and/or incompetence on the developers part.
I'm sick of the idiots that refuse to acknowledge the flaws when it comes to Madden. They start floating around this magical infinity engine, and all you clowns eat it up like candy, while, as the video proved, the infinity engine, atleast at this point, is nothing more than a glorified gimmick. I mean, what a great real physics engine they have, when the game still dictates what the players are gonna do. Got Mike Vick looking like Neo and Agent Smith in the Matrix and shyt. Come the fukk on already.
All the proof is in the video, but you idiots refuse to acknowledge it. "Awwww, they're just nitpicking...all they care about are the negative aspects in the game". Well, even if that was the case (which it's not), EA certainly makes it easy, as the negatives shine through more often than not. Again, how in the holy hell do you have 2 CB's that, once the ball is snapped, run criss cross of each other to the complete opposite side of the field, ignoring everything else on the field, and keep running out of bounds and disappearing into the "crowd"? Yeah, good thing he was nitpicking there.
Then you have this idiot Court (by the way Courtney, you have achieved the magical double: you have made it to my ignore list on a second website...congratulations) types out paragraphs of absolute nonsense, and literally doesn't have a clue when it comes to football games. He's been going all through the Madden threads defending the game like it was a used mattress he has his eye on. His football knowledge is horrible (but we all knew this), and seeing him putting his zero cents in this discussion is pure torture. Dude literally said that he didn't care about how convoluted the pre-snap adjustments were, he didn't care about hot routes anyways.
Now maybe he was saying it as some backhanded way to big up the garbage kinect integration, but it doesn't matter. When I hear you say that you don't care about hot routes, that tells me exactly the kind of gamer you are. Aiight, fine. And I get where you're coming from. Some of the problems may just be a video game issue and not just a Madden issue. Like with limbs morphing through body parts, okay, even that happens in 2K games every once and a while. nikkas worrying about halftime shows and shyt. That's all extra BS that doesn't matter to the core of the gameplay. What concerns me is broken AI. I noticed how you and Court conveniently looked over my post. It bothers me when AI isn't consistent, and runs away from the ballcarrier, rather than towards him. It bothers me when AI not only doesn't follow their assignment, but they run off the field and into the stands somewhere. It bothers me that a QB gets sacked, only to stand back up, and throw a bomb downfield to an open receiver for a touchdown. I'm not saying these things happen all the time, but it happens enough to wonder if we've wasted $60.

in 2012 the career modes are the most boring shyt ever in any sports game, no sports game can ever make the ai play like a human and react to what the fukk is going on, instead I have to put the ai on almost a 100 just for them to cheat for them to be competitive, but that where most the crying comes from franchise nikkaz, us online nikkaz been
