Respond respectfully, if you disagree why not give a rebuttal, the truth is Nash best year on the Mavs he av. simply 15 and 8 thats all, and compared to the other PG's at the time he was a fukking lower tier guard, which is why Cuban didnt want to pay him, he didnt become great until he ran that gimmick offense for D'antoni

:what:

Nash's two best years on the Mavs he averaged 17 and 7. During those years he shot 41 and 45% from 3. If you want to say other PG were better during that time, fine, but acting as if he was wack and wasn't a legit number 2 option is bullshyt.

Nash was an all star before Pheonix, but that was like 03'/04'

Who are the allstars dirk has played with from then on? Kidd as an injury replacement?

And he sucked during the 08'/09'/10' playoffs.

josh howard became a all star fukkin wit dirk...

dallas night life got em..

same city that fukked up the original big 3

jimmy jason n jamal....toni braxton..came down n destroyed that team..

:aicmon:MEANINGLESS 22 PPG?

:beli:"NASH WASNT A 2 TIME MVP THEN"
SO NASH WAS A PEDESTRIAN PG AT 29 YEARS OLD,
THEN A MVP CALIBER PLAYER AT 30 YEARS OLD?

GTFOH STANLEY.
THEY WERE A BIG 3.
THEY HAD MULTIPLE ALL STARS.
SPURS ONLY HAD 1 ALL STAR CALIBER PLAYER WHEN THEY BEAT DALLAS IN THE 2003 WCF.

ITS CLEAR YOU WERENT EVEN WATCHING BALL AT THAT TIME.

So tell me this if this if Mavs big 3 was so great, why not comapre their team to those in the West During that period, and the names also

SA-Robinson, Duncan, Young Parker and Ginobli
La-Kobe, Shaq, Kobe,Rice, Malone, Payton
Kings- C Webb, Divac, J will

Not to mention
TW- Prime KG, Cassell, and Spree

I take every one of those teams over the early 2000 Mavs

How the fukk is Dirk and measly Finely, and Nash supposed to compete in a loaded West.

And is people gonna judge Dirk in his first 5 or so years, knowing damn well he was no where near his prime

AND YET DALLAS IS AVERAGING A HUNDRED PTS EVERY YEAR...
WHERE ARE THESE PTS COMING FROM?
DIRK WILL GIVE YOU 24-26 PTS & 3 DIMES.
WHY ARE WE PRETENDING HE'S CARRYING SOME BRON/ROSE TYPE LOAD ON OFFENSE?
PLUS HE'S NOT A DEFENSIVE PRESENCE...
HE DOESNT CONTROL THE PACE...
HE'S JUST A SCORER.
JOSH HOWARD & JASON TERRY WASNT PUTTING IN WORK?

A ONE SIDED PLAYER WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ABOUT 34 PTS A GAME
IS GETTING ALL THE CREDIT FOR THOSE 50 WIN TEAMS?

So tell me this if this if Mavs big 3 was so great, why not comapre their team to those in the West During that period, and the names also

SO NOW A WASHED UP FINAL SEASON D-ROB, ROOKIE PARKER & A ROOKIE GINOBLI WAS >>>NASH & FINLEY

C-WEBB, DIVAC & "J-WILL" (:pachaha:WHO WASNT EVEN ON THE TEAM ANYMORE)
IS BETTER THAN DIRK, NASH & FINLEY?
SPREE, KG, CASSELL ISNT EQUIVALENT TO DIRK, NASH & FINLEY?

YOU JUST RUNNING OVER TO ROSTER PAGES.
YOU WASNT WATCHING BALL DUKE.

POP WANTED PARKER ASS GONE EVEN AFTER WINNING THAT TITLE.

:dead: @ you thinking THAT was the King's big 3

And Glen Rice was damn near worthless on the Lakers. When the Lakers were racking up championships they didn't have a Big 3. It was just Shaq and Kobe with a bunch of very good role players.

There wasnt even such thing to me as a big three then, just deep as teams that had great chemistry. I dont get how this dude thinks discrediting Nash/Fin equals not recognizing Dirks greatness though. Any real Nba fan knew Dirk had next in the Jazz series in 01'. Dirks a beast but I don't understand going 5-6 pages with the randomness of all the various hate and not knowing the facts of the time:comeon:

Dude gotta be trolling for Dirk...hes gotta be....

I was saying it on that other green site. Dirk has played on teams with depth but never a legit #2.

Look at the centers he's played next to. Other than Chandler we talking about Fortson, LaFrentz, Bradley, Haywood, Dampier, Mahinmi, Diop, Mbenga,

*flashes back to when Merc would cosign that team:lolbron:*

*adds Tim Hardaway to that list of Dirks Teamates:skip:*

When a team has 3 All Stars and you try to nonchalantly dismiss 2 of them, then there really isn't much to talk about. :yeshrug:

The problem with those Mavs teams was never their offense, they always had plenty of dudes who could score. They were just always a wack defensive team that couldn't consistently get stops when they needed to get them most.
