Great depth for sure Cuban has always made sure Dirk had plenty of weapons around him to work with. I blame more the focus primarily on offense that those old Mavs teams were built around rather than the players as to why Dirk never did more before the title win.

Dirks always had talent around him, you dont need no legit number 2 when your Dirk with the squads he's had in the past.
