I'm talking about the crowd of kids that Supreme appeals to. They do not rock foams. They are skater kids/hypebeasts that wear vans and nike SBs like janowskis and dunks. Foams are more of a hood/urban staple. It's more of a DC/DMV thing and a NYC thing than anywhere else.
Before Supreme did air force 1s, those kids would call Airs "ugly with a clunky sole" and talk smack. Then Supreme did air force 1s. All of a sudden Airs in their eyes are dope and awesome and they'll talk about how Lee Smith and Gino Ianucci did so many dope tricks in Airs back in the 90s in skate videos, whereas they were not even a positive though in their minds before then.
This is the same exact thing....it's so pretentious and see through.
