how has it gotten worse when every year since 1999 the murder totals have fallen year after year esp overall crime index?

in 1999 the crime index was 894 and fell to 582 in 2009. in 1999 there were 641 murders in 2010 there were 432.

I broke the mold too My two older brothers were 10 & 11 years older than me so by the time I got to HS I seen where that shyt got them. If we wasn't so far apart in age, I probably wouldve been riding with them. One killed at 18. The other in jail on & off for 8 years, just to come out, try to go straight, just to go back to doing dirt & ended up getting killed too. My sisters were typical too. Both pregnant dropouts at 17.

its just a case of having less people in the city then, just like those mid sized cities where the crime rates are much higher than big cities that rule the top 25 worst cities list

there is without a shadow of a doubt that Chicago isnt the only city having these issues...if you go into the worst problem areas of the top 5-8 cities in the county they are all experiencing similar numbers i think the fact Chicago is getting so much press is because those nigs cant even shoot. who the fukk has 40 shootings in a weekend and only like 2 die? they need to learn to aim because those niglets arnt getting the job done
