Imagine Jackie Robinson not wanting to play because he had to always deal with racial slurs.
Completely different times and different context.
It's 2012, we have fukk all to prove. And people aren't ignorant to tolerance, or just now understanding that black athletes are going to be playing...this shyt has been going on for decades, everyone knows the shyt is wrong, and people are just hateful because they can be.
We don't need, and shouldn't expect, some sort of cultural change in Ukraine or Russia or Bulgaria like we had in America....how can we, there are hardly any blacks in those countries? These countries need to be punished, and if FIFA won't do it, than it might be time for the players to take judgement into their own hands. I don't give a fukk what some wrinkle faced, alcoholic, heroin addicted russian thinks about blacks...but I do care about how they act when they are hosting an international tournament with all colors and creeds involved. And I expect my fukking race to be protected in these shyt holes when they manage to bribe their way into a host position.
Also, blacks had more of an incentive to take part in private, professional sports, in the United States, than they do to play in fukking international tournaments now (Where many are paid pennies in comparison to their club wage). Jackie Robinson not enduring would change HISTORY....black players today have far more options and POWER...imagine just a couple of black players walking off the pitch...and the media picks up on it, and people put clips on youtube, and people share it on their twitter and facebook...you're acting like Balotelli can't walk off the pitch, directly into a 500 thousand dollar automobile......bringing up Jackie Robinson doesn't even make sense.

When you take away the game from the fans, other fans will start policing the troublemakers and weeding them out. Wishful thinking I know
