Nobody sleeping on Foreman, we’re just saying that Tyson would’ve beat 38-44 year old Foreman who had retired for 10 years.

Still would’ve been a dangerous fight but possible. Tyson was Foremans motivation to come back, not vice versa

So do you believe old George hit harder or as hard as Rudduck?

Harder in his prime maybe but i dont know...

Tyson beat Rudduck though.

Yea he beat him twice. What im saying is that Foreman hit harder than Razor and plus had a better chin. He went the distance with prime roided up Holyfield. Post prison Mike wasn't the same. He lost to every big name fighter except for Ruddock. Ruddock lost to every big named fighter except maybe Michael Dokes. Mike's post prison record was nothing compared to Foremans post retirement resume. Mike was not knocking out Foreman but Foreman had a good chance of knocking Mike out IMO

At least you’re making valid points.

Foreman had came back before Prison Mike though If I’m not mistaken. So i was speaking in terms of Prime Mike vs retired for 10 years Foreman who was making his return. Foreman was no where near ready for Mike then which is what I was saying, even if he could knock out people.

When Mike fell off I think it would’ve been a lil closer since Mikes mobility, head movement, and boxing ability was damn near gone.

Foreman spoke about the match a few times but once Mike signed with Don King he didn’t want the fight anymore.

Has this ever been proved? If it has link me up pls

Listened to the podcast Mike did with him a while back, didn't seem to be any animosity

You didn't hear/read that article from a while back where Holyfield had roids delivered to his home in Georgia? The name on the package was "Evan Fields" :heh:

https://nypost.com/2007/03/02/report-holyfield-used-alias-to-buy-steroids/

He also trained with Lee Haney in the late 80's into the 90's to make the "move" to heavyweight who's a former Mr. Universe & known steroid abuser

Oh wow, good looking out. That's an open and shut case

On the podcast he came across like such a decent, God fearing country dude. Think differently of him now

Mike went in after the Ruddock second fight and around the same time Foreman fought Holyfield. George was definitely back to fighting shape by that time.

And heres the thing, im not disagreeing with anything you saying. Im a Tyson fanatic. I think he beats every heavyweight contender of his era in his prime (pre prison), except for big George. That includes Lennox and Holyfield. I think he struggles with Foreman because two of the things that Tyson was a master at, wouldn't affect Foreman. His intimidation: its hard to scare someone who fought prime Ali, Ron Lyle, Joe Frazier and Ken Norton. Number two Tyson was a big puncher but he wasn't as strong as say Ron Lyle. Foreman ate his shyt. Tyson would unload on George and George would absorb all them bombs.

The man has been knocked to the canvas ONCE in his career. And that was to the greatest boxer in history.

Prime George KO's Mike.

Tyson is probably the most mytholigized athlete in sports history. He was a great fighter. But he lost to the two biggest names on his resume; Holyfield and Lewis. He got stopped by both. He might have been out of his prime when he got outclassed by Lennox but he was still fighting fit when Holyfield stopped him. Imo, prime Lennox beats any version of Tyson.

While I agree with you for the most part, Tyson's power, hand & foot speed combo separated him from most heavyweights. Tyson would give you angles (especially in his prime) & catch you with something you might not be prepared for. Below Tyson setup the right hand by looping it & I timestamped it

This clip below is him outta his prime but he used to use more angles in the 80's & early 90's. Right before I timestamped he tried it & landed but not flush:

He turned southpaw kinda lol

Lol. Prime Tyson beats both Foreman and Lewis

There's a fight I always tell people to watch who doubt Tyson really was a unique hw and it's the fight against James bonecrusher Smith. think it was his first defence after he won the title

Not a glamorous fight in the sense it's a ko in the 3rd, but it puts paid to the notion Tyson didn't have stamina (went 12 rds) and it's one of the most devastating complete performances I've ever seen from a hw fighter. 5m highlights just poetry in motion
