Shes Rebecca Knox..renamed Becky Lynch..once upon a time she was a technical wrestling version of Rey Mysterio..just a master at leverage mat/Submission work and leading matches. Been a heel most of her run. As a face..she went away from that style and her personality is once again shining as the comeback face who never quits. Fans are ignoring her recent heel turn because of such a connection.

Shes another talented and charismatic performer that's been really underutilized by the hapless WWE booking and writing teams. Plus since shes turned heel shes started acting like a badass and WWE apparently forgot that people want to cheer for badasses? :jagfan:

Not going to lie, when I first made this thread, I was expecting a catastrophe because it's rare that WWE actually does the right thing but she's killing it. She's tapped into a completely different energy to make her heel persona work and making the most of it.
She might end up in the battle royal at WrestleMania next year but at least we got a chance to see her shine again.

Because shes been allowed to win, and look competent, and back up her shyt talk. All things that dont generally happen for wrestlers in similar positions.
Of course it helps that the wrestler shes feuding with is her real life BFF that is clearly supportive of her push, rather than some a$$hole politicking backstage to "protect their spot" and win every exchange aka the treatment for 95% of the opponents of Hogan/HHH/Cena/Roman etc.

If they were really about proving their point, they'd let Becky cook for a little longer. Her character arc is basically a compressed version of the women's division's road to respectability.
