I mean the same Dave Meltzer when defending CM Punk and Daniel Bryan would point out to you that Steve Austin didnt save the business after his 3:16 promo and his match with Bret at Mania, it took awhile for casuals to notice and WWE to finally pull the trigger with the maina main event and having Tyson give him the rub, and he'd be right

Im not trying to compare Becky or Punk or DB to Austin, obviously but I make that point to say its gonna take a couple of years of competent booking/storylines and Vince not losing interest for their to be any significant returns on Becky's popularity woth the crowd.

I felt the same way about the women's revolution a few weeks back and said here they need to address that the drop in audience has been with women and how the push is not reflecting the numbers, but its gonna take a change in format and stories to go along with a push to see any impact
