:wtf:

That was his first year as a starter. What u mean only had his breakout year last year :dead:

Fields is far from being a rookie. He has had 3 years of playing as a starter.

Im legit gonna get a hold of scientists to dissect this love fest people have for Fields.

Why even respond to posts if you didn't understand a single sentence in them? I'm not even a fan of Fields, he just objectively has not had enough experience to declare he's a bust yet.

You seem to be unaware that Fields only played 1.5 years as a starting QB in college cause of Covid, and because of injuries he basically has had 2.5 years as a starter in the NFL. That's only 4 years total despite being thrown into the mix immediately, he never got time to learn and develop under an experienced NFL quarterback.

Compare that to Bo Nix, who already has 5 years of starting QB reps under his belt and just as many career starts as Fields has. That's what I was saying when I said that Fields is like a rookie - he basically has the same amount of career experience as a 4-year college starter with a redshirt year.

Love, unlike Fields, had 3 years as a starter in college then 2 more years to develop under a star quarterback in the NFL, and is half a year older than Fields is now. What I was pointing out is that even though people are treating Love like a young player just getting started, he actually is older and in some ways better experienced than Fields is.

Why assume that a player who has only started 4 years of games in college/pros combined will already be up to peak game knowledge and doesn't have room to improve?

@Bboystyle, Steve Young is a great comp if you know your history.

Young only started for 2 years at BYU before he went pro. He came into the NFL and became a starter his first year, and struggled. Struggles again the second year, gets shipped out and becomes a backup to Joe Montana. Plays as a backup with spot starts and continues to be so-so for two more years, but by his 3rd year as Montana's backup he begins completing at a much higher %, and after the 4th year as a backup, he finally becomes the starter and balls out.

When Young was a 4th year NFL player with just 4 years of career college/pro starts under his belt, he didn't look very good. But he just wasn't ready yet. Pretty soon he got ready and became one of the greatest QBs of all time. That doesn't mean that Fields will become a great QB, just that it's too early to judge.

Consistency is key. I can name many unremarkable QBs who have done that..Mac Jones has done it, Ryan Fitzpatrick has, Colt McCoy has, Kelly Holcomb has, AJ Feeley has, Rex Grossman has, Tommy Maddox has. And since when has 20 pts been a benchmark for offensive excellence? Especially in this era where points are more abundant. Anthony Wright had some high scoring outings,.once upon a time. I remember Bruce Gradkowski having some big scoring games for Oakland. Fields is not good, at all.
Dude really said Fields led them to multiple 20 point outings like that's an accomplishment. :laff:

U really out here comparing college experience with NFL? :mindblown:

Fields has more NFL experience than Love and still sucks. Hes a fukking bust. Get over it. Ill be gladly to come back here another 3 years and prove how he still is a bust.

Kurt Warner has a breakdown of Miami's offense. Didn't like their play design very much from what I remember. Said plenty of times they're making the QB's job more difficult like how some of the routes were dragging defenders right into positions to obstruct passes.

If they don't resolve that then it really doesn't matter who throws for them imo.
They don’t wanna hear it. To them, Tia is the problem. 3 seconds or less offense is the problem. We need an Oline. They keep harping on the Tua cold weather games like in KC. He has to process quicker.

Love sat for a long, long time behind a HOFer.

He's had 1 good year, let's see how he looks next year.

Exactly. He was sitting, not playing. Theres two type of learners: hands on and eye observations. Maybe Fields the type that needs to sit and learn. Who knows. But nothing about him says "wow, hes a really good player on a shyt team".

He aint right inbetween the ears

It's funny, people act like Justin Fields would flourish in that Miami vs KC play-off game behind a shytty offensive line when they complained about his shytty offensive line in Chicago :mjlol:

Acting like dude would've had KC's defense scrambling when he only put up a whole 99 yards passing against them in week 3 - long before KC's defense started to play for real.

Acting like he just needs to "sit and learn" from someone. Man, that's how you talk about rookies, not 4th year players.
Cats still want this dude to sit and learn behind Russell Wilson for a couple years so that by the time he's a six-year vet he can play like a 2nd year QB would?
I'm saying, this dude better light it the fukk up if he ever plays for the Steelers because I'm not gonna be taking anyone's football opinions serious anymore who hyped this dude up if he ends up goose egging in Pittsburgh.

Tua is a solid QB. I want to see what he can do with a healthy O-Line protecting him and another in a year in this offense. Also McDaniels specialty is in the run game. His passing plays need some refinement as he utilizes these awkward combination of routes on some plays.

I'm never taking somr of you nikkas opinion on football seriously. Miami's offence because of the bad o-line is predicated on quick reads, timing and anticipation. But you think Fields would be a better fit in Miami? :dahell:

I'll take the word of a HOF, MVP Superbowl winning QB over you nikkas.
