So anybody got any beat making resolutions for 2014??

I'm trying to step my r&b game up, and get better on sampling. I'm also trying to polish up my pop, top 40 sound. I'm gettin the maschine in mid feb so I'll have motivation I been on Fruity loops since 2002. I gotta make that step to something new

I want to get my sample game up this year. For sampling purposes right now I normally take pre-arranged loops and chop those or use midi files. I now want to get back to chopping my own samples. I'm also seriously thinking about giving it one more shot at producing artists...quit a few years ago cause of the headache involved with working with clowns

This year I want to finish producing my album and start dabbling in some RnB sounds

improve my drums.
collab more on beats with friends (especially when they can bring a special skill i don't have)
