So....you're telling him he's reaching yet you're the one claiming Nas had a whole album ghost-written for him with absolutely no proof at all?

Fred.

b b bb bbbut Dream Hampton said it after someone dissed Jay for being too materialistic.

So what she co-wrote De:Coded and runs Jay's life+times blog, she isn't biased at all.

I dont think you realize the gamble it is for a writer of her stature to say something like that without being 1000000% sure that its factual.

I do.

However, I think when facts come to light, the statement will have been greatly overextended to where Nas & Stic collaborating on song concepts and where to insert hooks/bridges etc does not exactly equate to ghostwriter the way the blog writer from RIK is trying to make it seem. If you understand how music goes on in professional studio settings, then maybe you see where I'm coming from.

There must be a motive if you are someone and trying to "expose" someone.
I know people will say Snoop Dogg, but why the fukk would the man who wrote Illmatic need a writer for his album? J. Elect might gave him a bar or two, nikkas bouce ideas of each other when they are in the studio but as far as writing Hampton is just tryna score some type of headlines.

You stans are delusional, you're talking about a cadence, and a topic. She said that the MAJORITY of ****** was written by other people. Keyword: majority.

I believe a lot of producers also write the hooks to songs now or have some sort of initial track that's laid to the beat. The artist usually takes this track as a framework for his own sometimes leaving in certain parts, hooks, certain bars, etc.

here, the producer can get a writing credit too and possibly a piece of the publishing that goes to the artist in addition to the part that goes to the producer.
