This is a bad sign but its not over yet. I've been on a few forums that died due to lack of admin involvement before. You know you're in trouble once the Cloudflare errors start hitting. Once that happens its on life support and could die any day. We're still some way away from that I think. At least a few months. Enough time to get a new community organised and up and running.
I don't know much about that. I do know that there are plenty of people here who are clued up on it enough to start a new site. And I also know that we have a great community on here that I would be sad to no longer be part of. I would certainly commit to a financial contribution towards the organisation of a new website for us.
What does it cost to get a forum set up? There's at least a few thousand daily, active regular users here, across all the sub forums we have got. A $10 donation from each of us would probably yield a war chest of $50,000, which would probably be enough to get the place started and pay for server costs and SEO and all that shyt for a year or two. Not to mention when we get the new place up and running we can offset the operating costs with ad money.
One thing is for sure, it has to be a collective. There has to be a great number of admins, at least a dozen if not two. The weakness of the Coli model with basically one owner is that if that owner becomes engaged in other projects, then the whole community will suffer for it. But if we have 20 admins, then it doesn't matter if one or two of them disappear. So it's better to operate with a collective ownership model than being run by a sole owner.
honestly im sure we could all come up with the funds to buy out the coli on some shareholder type ish.
Unfortunately I have no way to contact the owner but if anyone can ?
then vote for an admin who'd handle all the technical stuff and mods
What’s that discordthis site still has a lot of life left in it but it needs new admins or some admins who give a damn, like @LevelUp said we a long way away from the days of Cook and Brook actively posting with us
registration needs to be open point blank period, a lot of dope posters have bounced to Discord and everybody talmbout keep it closed need to stop acting scary cause the whole reason we have mods is to get the clowns out
the front page needs to come back, i don’t think there was ever a proper explanation on why it got removed
new mods need to be added and people who won poster of the year and WOAT need they banners
the media section and custom smileys and gifs need to come back
they need to dial back on all these damn ads but i use Adblock anyway so i ain’t tripping off that

I've proposed these same exact proposals countless times since 2017. And each time I've made a thread voicing them, or brought it up in another "the coli is dying" thread, everybody simply ignored it. That goes for the admin/Brooklyzson, the mods, and the Coli community as a whole. Everybody just yawns and carries on each time I've mentioned this idea, since 2017. If brehs are serious, I'm with it. Been saying it for years. It can't take much to buy this site and maintain it. And I think we can all agree that it would be worth the time money and effort to do so.
It's really unbelievable that Brook won't even bother to drop in and give us an explanation. I'm beginning to think it's not deliberate, and that breh might just be off the grid in some way shape or form. People are saying they can't even reach him. Someone reached him through The Coli's telegram acct or whatever, but I've yet to try that.
What are brehs in the other Forums saying? Coliseum and Higher Learning and 6Certs etc? Man I swear, there is literally no reason for this place to die, with as much resources and as many people we have here.
hell id have no problem throwing 100, 200 etc.
Honestly coli is like the first site I check every day
But yeah look at warezbb when the owner died that was it for that site
because here it was only brook and cook, cook left and then brook totally understandable probably doing otehr things ten years is a long time but there is no one else
We might as well move en masse over there.
These nikkas are polluting multiple siteschecked out that site.

Why? We have our own community here, fukk joining a new one. We should find a way to continue this one instead of fleeing like refugees into somebody else's.
People should be trying to join us, not the other way round
that was one of my favorites sites on the entire innanet I used to make so much money from there...STILL searching for a worthy alternativeyeah look at warezbb when the owner died that was it for that site
Then find a way cause we can't even type a few paragraphs without getting a 500 internal server error.
