Five star thread

Al Bundy is a personal hero - mainly because no matter what, he kept trucking along

He wouldn't take shyt from anybody that wasn't his family - only he could insult them

The fights between him and Marcy :mjlol:

And then Jefferson would be laughing at his jokes but as soon as Marcy looked at him he was like :whoa:

Truth:nassalute:

yea she was smashable and Al recognized that, especially in the episode where she became a stripper and he got jealous; But being smashable wasn't enough to overcome his depression. He wanted more outta life, but he settled for less in his mind. To me a wife shouldn't just be smashable, but desirable, and Al only had desire for her sporadically.[DOUBLEPOST=1397335243][/DOUBLEPOST]

They actually would have sliced stale milk for dinner and shyt :mjlol:; they had so many struggle meals on there it was ridiculous

My parents have been married 25 years and my dad is still all over her. So you can miss with that. The depressed part I get. But dude never did anything but complain. That's what happens when you do nothing. You get nothing.

Its a fictional character lmao

but he's supposed to be comparable to many men in that situation

I didnt understand the Al Bundy character until I got older and was in a relationship with a person more than 3yrs.
Now I watch that shyt like its church.

Every married dude should be able to relate to it.
I dont care how fine your girl is...if youve been fukking the same chick for years, you start dreaming about new p*ssy.

lol, I guess people saw it differently. Al Bundy was like an early prophet for me he taught that "get married brehs" meme to us. Now whenever I've thought to myself "Oooh I'd marry her" my mind goes back to Al and Peg. :pachaha:

This.

You gotta look at it in context...

- he's been hittin' it since high school, no doubt she fell off
- him hittin' it got him Kelly and Bud
- she don't cook or anything
- he sees bad bytches all day at the shoe stow

This. I don't get it...of course, married guy will get tired of f*cking the same p*ssy for years and even wife get tired of f*cking the same husband who don't g!ve about her anymore so she will try to find the new D that will f8ck the sh!t out of her...it's the circle of life[DOUBLEPOST=1397370437][/DOUBLEPOST]
This is up there with Martin not wanting to fukk Pam :mindblown:

Bad comparing.

Al married Peg for years. Martin just in love with Gina and he wants to marry her.

Al vs Marcy D'Arcy just reminds me of Martin vs Pam, that's it.
