lol I agree with you, but what I posted was the point of the show; we were supposed to look at from Al's perspective only; he hated his life and those were the reasons why; it doesn't have to apply to everyone else, but that was his perspective.

I understand his perspective. My point was that if he put any effort into his married it might not have been so bad. There were a few episodes where she tried in the kitchen, and I do remember her hitting him up for the D. So she had it in her. She just needed some guidance.

Then it wouldn't have been a funny satire on middle aged regrets in life...regardless of how people want to critique the show, the point was Al regretted the day he nutted in Peg because he lost the life he wanted. That's what made it so funny to see Al try and recapture that every episode...he failed ever episode because he knew there was no going back as long as he was married...with children.
